A Nigerian man named Kaeren SimonOyantar Aver has shared his concern about the way some girls dressed during a recent Children’s Day celebration in Benue State. He felt that some of the outfits worn by young girls were not suitable for their age and called them indecent.
Kaeren questioned what kind of wives young boys of today would marry in the future if girls are already dressing in such a manner at a young age. He believes that how children are raised now will affect the kind of adults they become later on.
He also pointed out that it is the responsibility of parents, guardians, and teachers to guide children properly. According to him, events like Children’s Day should teach good values, such as self-respect and modesty, instead of encouraging behavior that may lead to poor habits in the future.
Kaeren hopes that people will take this issue seriously and do more to protect children by helping them make better choices, especially when it comes to how they dress. He believes this is important for building a respectful and morally sound society.
