The Premier League has now confirmed which six teams will play in the Champions League next season.

This was decided after the last games of the 2024/2025 season finished on Sunday.

Chelsea earned their spot by beating Nottingham Forest 1-0 at Forest’s home ground. Levi Colwill scored the only goal after Neto’s low cross.

This win helped Chelsea finish in fourth place in the league.

Manchester City won 2-0 against Fulham with goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Erling Haaland.

Once champions, Manchester City had a tough season and finished third, behind Liverpool and Arsenal.

Newcastle United took the final Champions League place from the league, even though they lost 1-0 at home to Everton.

Tottenham Hotspur had already qualified earlier by winning the Europa League final, where they beat Manchester United 1-0.

The teams playing in the Champions League next season will be Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur (as Europa League winners).

Aston Villa and Crystal Palace will compete in the Europa League. Crystal Palace qualified by winning the FA Cup.

Nottingham Forest will take part in the Conference League next season.
