Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen might be heading to Saudi Arabia soon. Reports say he is talking with Al-Hilal about a possible transfer.
Osimhen is currently playing for Galatasaray on loan from his parent club, Napoli, for the 2024/25 season. At the end of the season, he is expected to leave Napoli permanently.
His contract includes a €75 million release clause. This means that any club willing to pay that amount could sign him this summer.
However, this clause does not apply to clubs in Italy. That means Juventus, who are also interested in Osimhen, would need to pay more than the stated amount.
French sports news source Footmercato shared that Al-Hilal has already contacted the player’s agents to discuss a move.
Al-Hilal is searching for a new top-level striker to strengthen their squad after Neymar left the team in January.
