Nigerian actress Grace Bassey, who used to be known as Belinda Effah, has made a big change in her life. She has joined the United States Navy.
Grace decided to leave her acting career after finishing the tough U.S. Navy boot camp. This achievement also helped her become a U.S. citizen.
On her Instagram page, Grace shared that even though she grew up in Nigeria, living in America has helped her become stronger and more focused on her goals.
She also shared photos and videos of her new life in the Navy. Grace dedicated this success to her late father, Naval Commander Asido Bassey Effah.
Grace started her acting career in 2005 with the Nollywood TV series Shallow Waters. She changed her name from Belinda Effah to Grace-Charis Bassey after a special experience with God.
Grace’s journey shows how she has grown from a Nigerian actress to a proud member of the US Navy.
