Jamie Carragher, a former England defender, thinks that if Manchester United signs striker Matheus Cunha, Alejandro Garnacho might leave the club this summer.
It was reported recently that Cunha has agreed to join Manchester United from Wolves this summer.
Manchester United are keen to activate Cunha’s £62.5 million release clause to bring him to Old Trafford.
When asked how Cunha’s arrival could affect Garnacho’s future at the club, Carragher told Sky Sports that it is not good news for Garnacho. He said that Amad Diallo might play in one of the attacking positions alongside Cunha and sometimes Bruno Fernandes.
Carragher also said that if Manchester United gets a good offer for Garnacho, the club will probably accept it.
After a difficult first season in the Premier League, Manchester United want to strengthen their squad this summer.
The club has been linked with several top players, including Matheus Cunha.
