European Golden Boot 2024/25 standings [Top 10]

This season, Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres is leading the race for the European Golden Boot. He has scored the most goals and earned the highest points so far.

Gyokeres has scored 39 goals and got 58.5 points after the Portuguese league games ended. This gives him the top spot in the Golden Boot standings.

Right behind him is Real Madrid’s star Kylian Mbappe. The La Liga season is still going on and will finish later this month.

Mbappe scored a goal against Sevilla on Sunday. That goal made his total in La Liga 29 goals, and he now has 58 points. This puts him in second place in the Golden Boot race.

Mbappe has one last chance to score more goals. Real Madrid will play their final game against Real Sociedad next Saturday. If he scores, he could catch up to Gyokeres and maybe even win the Golden Boot.

Here are the top 10 players in the Golden Boot race this season:

  • Viktor Gyokeres (Sporting Lisbon): 39 goals, 58.5 points
  • Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid): 29 goals, 58 points
  • Mohamed Salah (Liverpool): 28 goals, 56 points
  • Harry Kane (Bayern Munich): 26 goals, 52 points
  • Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona): 25 goals, 50 points
  • Mateo Retegui (Atalanta): 25 goals, 50 points
  • Alexander Isak (Newcastle United): 23 goals, 46 points
  • Mika Biereth (Sturm Graz & AS Monaco): 24 goals, 42.5 points
  • Ousmane Dembele (Paris Saint-Germain): 21 goals, 42 points
  • Erling Haaland (Manchester City): 21 goals, 42 points

Although Gyokeres has scored 10 more goals than Mbappe, the Portuguese league counts each goal as 1.5 points. Meanwhile, La Liga and other big leagues like the English Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1 count each goal as 2 points. This difference affects the total points in the Golden Boot race.

The race is very close, and it will be exciting to see who wins the Golden Boot this year.
