Aubrey O’Day, who used to work with Sean “Diddy” Combs, has spoken out against him. She says it was wrong for Diddy to let his kids listen to very graphic and upsetting stories during his trial.
Aubrey, 41, was part of the girl group Danity Kane. She is upset because Diddy’s children had to hear explicit details about the serious charges he faces in court.
On the podcast Amy Robach and TJ Holmes Present, Aubrey shared how shocked she was that the kids went into court praying and supported their dad while hearing these disturbing stories.
She described some of the things the kids heard about their dad’s sexual preferences. She thinks no parent would want their children to hear those kinds of things.
Six of Diddy’s seven children, including Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, and twins Jessie and D’Lila, have been sitting through the trial and hearing these difficult details. His youngest child, Love, is only two years old.
Aubrey believes Diddy is using his children to help make the jury feel sympathy for him. She said this looks like a planned move to get the jury on his side.
At one point, three of the kids left the courtroom when a man gave a very uncomfortable story about Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
The man said Diddy watched while a sexual act happened, which made things even harder for the children.
Aubrey called Diddy selfish. She said he only cares about himself and doesn’t think about what his kids have to go through.
She also said Diddy acts like he did with his alleged victims—selfish, controlling, and putting his needs first.
In her view, Diddy’s actions show he puts his wants ahead of everything else, even if it hurts those closest to him.
