People in Abia State are more interested in good leadership from Governor Alex Otti than where he works from. This was said by Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
There have been strong rumors that live animals like cows, vultures, and tortoises were buried inside the new Government House before Governor Otti started his work. These stories also include rumors about magic rituals aimed at harming the Governor.
Njoku Ukoha spoke about these rumors during a live radio show called Open Parliament on Family Love FM in Umuahia. He explained that the current government does not believe in these stories and sees them only as rumors.
However, he noticed that some members of the opposition are putting a lot of pressure on Governor Otti to move into the new Government House. This has made him wonder if there is something suspicious behind these rumors.
He asked why the same people are pushing so hard for the Governor to move in, especially after the rumors about animals and magic rituals.
Meanwhile, the government is busy fixing up the old Government House. This includes important places like the Secretary to the State Government’s office and the Government House clinic.
Njoku Ukoha also praised Governor Otti for completing the repair of Port Harcourt Road, which had been in bad shape for many years. He added that many other damaged roads in Aba have now been fixed thanks to the current administration.
