Cassie accuses Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of rap!ng her and threatening to release s3x videos

R&B singer Cassie spoke in court on Wednesday, May 14, saying that music star Sean “Diddy” Combs raped her when she tried to end their 10-year relationship. She said he used threats of sharing private videos to keep control over her.

On her second day of testifying in Diddy’s sex trafficking trial, Cassie told the court in Manhattan that he came to her Los Angeles apartment and forced himself on her after she said she was leaving him.

Cassie also shared that Diddy made her take part in many sexual acts with male sex workers. She said he recorded these and sometimes watched them for days. She feared that if the videos were released, it would damage her career and hurt her family. She said, “It’s just horrible and no one should go through that.”

Prosecutors showed five pictures taken from the videos, which Diddy allegedly called “freak-offs.” One of the jurors looked shocked when the images were shown.

Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, had already filed a lawsuit in 2023 claiming years of abuse. She revealed in court that the case was settled quickly for $20 million. After her lawsuit, many other women came forward with similar stories.

Government lawyers say Diddy used his power in the music world to hurt and control women. He is now facing serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. More women are expected to speak during the trial.

Diddy, who is 55 years old, denies all the charges. His legal team says he sometimes acted badly but all sexual acts were between adults who agreed. He has been in jail since September and could spend at least 15 years in prison if found guilty. The trial may last around two months.

Cassie’s court statements show the pain she went through during her public relationship with Diddy. She said they met in 2005 when she was just 19, and he signed her to a 10-year deal with Bad Boy Records. They began dating a few years later.

The jury also saw hotel footage from 2016 where Diddy was seen hitting Cassie. This happened just two days before they smiled together at a movie premiere. He later apologized after the video became public in 2024.

Cassie said she used makeup and wore sunglasses to cover her injuries for the premiere. She even changed clothes in a popcorn storage room so people wouldn’t see the bruises on her legs.

In another story from 2013, she said Diddy hurt her while she was getting ready for a music event. He reportedly threw her into a bed frame and cut her above the eye. She got stitches from a plastic surgeon that his team arranged.

After this, Cassie sent Diddy a picture of her face with the message, “So you can remember.” He replied by blaming her, saying she didn’t know when to stop and pushed him too far.

Now 38 years old, Cassie stayed calm in court during her second day of testimony. Prosecutors say her story is part of a bigger pattern of abuse by Diddy, who once had major power in the music industry.
