Rising Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck recently had an interview with Beat 99.9 FM where he opened up about his journey in the music industry—and a big surprise from Davido.
During the interview, he mentioned that just two days ago, Davido sent ₦10 million to his girlfriend as a way of saying thank you.
According to Odumodublvck, Davido appreciated how much his girlfriend supported him during his “Next Rated” campaign for the Headies Awards. She handled the whole campaign and made sure everything went well behind the scenes.
He described her as a “real G” and made it clear that her hard work was a big reason he won. He also praised Davido, saying, “Shout out to OBO though,” in appreciation of the generous gift.
The rapper also talked about how much the “Next Rated” award means to him. He reflected on the tough journey and mentioned that he wasn’t even nominated the previous year. But he now sees everything as part of the bigger plan for his success.
