Nigerian musician Speed Darlington has responded strongly to fans of social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) who have been urging him to join the protest calling for VDM’s release from EFCC custody.
The artist didn’t hold back, telling those who criticized him to focus on working hard and doing something meaningful with their lives instead of disturbing him.
When people asked him to join the #FreeVDM movement, Speed Darlington expressed his annoyance. He questioned why no one stood up for him when he had his own issues in the past and was detained.
He made it clear that he doesn’t owe anyone support and said those calling him out should mind their business and find better things to do with their time.
