EPL: Salah breaks silence as Alexander-Arnold dumps Liverpool

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has finally spoken out after news broke that Trent Alexander-Arnold will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

The talented right-back, who grew up supporting Liverpool, has reportedly turned down a contract extension. Instead, he’s planning to move to Spanish giants Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Alexander-Arnold, now 26, has been part of the Liverpool family since he was just six years old. After coming through the academy, he went on to lift eight major trophies with the club.

The England defender called the choice to leave “the hardest decision of his life.” Even though he’ll be wearing another jersey soon, he said he’ll always cheer for Liverpool.

Over the years, Salah and Alexander-Arnold built a strong connection on the right wing. Their chemistry helped Liverpool win matches and trophies. On Monday, Salah shared a heartfelt Instagram post reflecting on their time together.

Salah wrote: “It’s been a pleasure sharing a special friendship with you and playing alongside you. I wish you the best and I am sure we will meet again.” He included several pictures of the two celebrating on the field.

Alexander-Arnold responded with two heart emojis and called Salah “big bro,” showing just how close their friendship is.

Their partnership will be missed by Liverpool fans, but their bond remains strong as they head in different directions.
