The Ecuadorian midfielder played every Premier League match this season, showcasing his skill and consistency. Chelsea fans voted for him as their favorite player after his remarkable second year with the club.
Caicedo also earned the Players’ Player of the Season award, an accolade voted for by his teammates, further cementing his influence on and off the pitch.
The awards were presented during Chelsea’s annual awards night, held on Sunday, May 4. It was a night to celebrate the club’s exceptional talents.
In the women’s category, Erin Cuthbert was named Player of the Season, a title she first claimed during the 2018/19 season. Nathalie Björn was voted Players’ Player of the Year, recognizing her stellar contributions to the team’s defense in her debut full season.
