Prince Harry is facing criticism after making comments about his father, King Charles’ health, during a BBC News interview. He said he wants to fix his relationship with the Royal Family but doesn’t know how much longer his father has to live.
Ailsa Anderson, who used to be the press secretary to the late Queen, said Harry’s comments could cause more worry and media speculation about the King’s condition. She believes these topics should be talked about privately, not in public interviews.
“Talking about how long his father might live will only make people ask more questions and spread more rumors about the King’s health,” Anderson told Sky News.
She added that if Harry really wants to make peace with his family, it should happen in private, not through the media.
