The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has lowered the price of petrol at its stations. The new pump price is now N910 per litre, down from N935. This change was noticed at several NNPCL outlets in Abuja, including Kubwa Expressway, Zone 4, and Gudu.
The N20 price drop has attracted many drivers to NNPCL stations across the city. This move is part of a larger price competition happening in the fuel market.
Other fuel stations, especially those linked with Dangote Refinery like MRS, are also selling petrol for N910 per litre. Dangote Refinery had earlier reduced its ex-depot price to N835 per litre. After that, its partners started selling petrol between N890 and N920 in places like Lagos and Abuja.
Because of this price drop, many other stations are still selling fuel at higher prices—between N930 and N950 per litre—depending on the area.
NNPCL had previously reduced its price to N935 on April 20, 2025, before this latest cut to N910.
