Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has shared his opinion on the club’s chances of reaching the UEFA Champions League final, even after their 1-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Gunners lost the first leg of their semi-final at the Emirates Stadium. PSG’s Ousmane Dembele scored the only goal of the match, giving the French team the lead ahead of the second leg.
Arsenal will now have to fight back in the return leg, which will be played next Wednesday at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
Despite the loss, Henry still believes Arsenal have a chance to turn things around. Speaking to CBS Sports, he said PSG were clearly the better team in the first game, and Arsenal need to make some big changes to win in the second leg.
Henry also pointed out that when Dembele was taken off, PSG seemed to lose some control, and Arsenal were able to apply more pressure. He said this could be a sign of hope.
“There is still another game,” Henry said. “Anything can happen. Arsenal are still in it.”
