A shocking incident happened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where a Nigerian man bit a police officer’s ear during an arrest.
The Kuala Lumpur police chief, Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa, said the event took place around 10:03 am on Friday, April 25, 2025. A police corporal was called to a clinic in Metro Prima, Kepong, after a report about a foreign man causing trouble.
Police found the 38-year-old Nigerian man disturbing people at the clinic. He was arrested and handcuffed. While being taken to the police car, he suddenly became aggressive. Even though his hands were cuffed behind him, he managed to bite the police officer’s left ear and tear part of it off.
The injured officer is now getting treatment at Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
Police are investigating the case under laws related to causing serious injury, resisting arrest, and immigration offenses.
