Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, has promised to protect Tiwa Savage no matter what. This comes a year after Tiwa Savage accused him of threatening her life.

Their disagreement started in January 2024, when Tiwa posted a photo with Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, on social media.

After the post, Tiwa’s ex-husband, Teebillz, warned Davido and said he would deal with him for the alleged threat.

But in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Davido said he still sees Tiwa as his sister and promised to always keep her safe.

He explained that they were very close in the past and even lived in the same house at one time. He added that the issue between them was personal because of her friendship with Sophia.

Davido said, “Tiwa Savage is my sister for life. She changed the music industry for women. I love her and her son. We’re family. It was just a small fight, like between a brother and sister. She reached out to me, and I’ll never let anything bad happen to her.”
