“If you don’t have unrestricted access to your partner’s phone, they’re hiding something” Businesswoman says

Recently engaged businesswoman, Ifedayo Agoro, shared her opinion about phone access in relationships. According to her, if your partner doesn’t give you full access to their phone, it means they’re hiding something.

She explained on social media that even if what they’re hiding isn’t harmful to the relationship, the act of hiding is still a problem.

However, she also gave a warning to those who do have full access. She said it’s important not to use that access to control or manipulate your partner. Doing so can lead to anger, resentment, and a lack of trust.

Agoro added that if you feel the need to constantly check your partner’s phone, it shows a deeper issue — a lack of trust in the relationship. And that, she said, is a more serious problem.

In short, trust and respect go hand-in-hand. Phone access can help build transparency, but it should never be used as a weapon.
