Southampton’s striker, Paul Onuachu, may not play in their upcoming Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Manager Ivan Juric said Onuachu hurt his ankle during their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Wednesday. Onuachu scored the only goal for Southampton before being taken off near the end of the match.
“Paul has a problem with his ankle. He didn’t train today, but we’ll see how he is tomorrow,” Juric said during a press conference.
So far this season, the Nigerian forward has scored four goals in 20 league matches for Southampton.
