God has put EFCC’s most wanted, others to shame, INEC did well – Natasha Akpoti

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, has praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for rejecting a fake recall process against her. She described it as a victory for democracy and a defeat for those trying to undermine the people’s will.

INEC announced that the recall petition did not meet the constitutional requirements, so no further action would be taken. Reacting to this, Senator Natasha expressed gratitude, saying that God had shamed those behind the attempt, including former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello, who is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

She emphasized that the people’s voice is powerful and that no one, including powerful politicians, can take away the mandate given to her by the people of Kogi Central.

“I had no fear because I believe in God and in my people,” she stated. “INEC has shown true independence by upholding justice. This decision has exposed those who thrive on manipulation, violence, and election rigging.”

Senator Natasha also thanked her supporters in Kogi Central and across Nigeria for standing by her. She vowed to continue working for justice and making a difference in the country.

“One battle down, two more to go,” she added, expressing hope for more victories ahead.

She also gave special appreciation to her husband, her support team, and the Nigerian people, while reaffirming her commitment to bringing justice and fairness to governance.

With INEC’s decision, she believes a new political era is emerging—one where corrupt politicians will no longer have influence over the people.
