Unity Cup: Super Eagles clash with Ghana, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will take part in the Unity Cup 2025, an invitational football tournament in London this May. The competition will feature four teams: Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago.

The tournament will kick off on Tuesday, May 27, with Jamaica’s Reggae Boys playing against the Soca Warriors of Trinidad & Tobago in the first semi-final. The following day, Wednesday, May 28, will see a heated clash between West African rivals Nigeria and Ghana in the second semi-final.

The winners of both matches will play in the final on Saturday, May 31, while the losing teams will compete for third place on the same day. The overall champions will lift the Unity Cup 2025 trophy.

Apart from the tournament, Nigeria will also play a friendly match against Russia in June. These matches will help the Super Eagles prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa, scheduled for September 2025.
