Leeds United are looking to sign Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi, according to reports. The Championship club has already started talks with the Portuguese side regarding a transfer.
Sanusi, who plays as a left-back, has struggled for regular game time this season, making only three league appearances for Porto. With limited opportunities, the 27-year-old Nigerian international is open to leaving at the end of the season.
Reports suggest that Leeds United are willing to pay €2m for the defender. Sanusi joined Porto in 2020 from Santa Clara, another club in Portugal.
Leeds hope to strengthen their squad with his experience as they push for promotion back to the Premier League. It remains to be seen if the deal will be finalized in the coming months.
