Kano Pillars have officially lifted the suspension on their technical adviser, Usman Abdallah. The club had sidelined him in February due to poor results and an incident with fans after a goalless draw against Bayelsa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
During his suspension, Ahmed Garba Yaro Yaro took over as interim coach. The suspension was later extended in March, leaving Abdallah out of action for weeks.
However, the club has now resolved all issues, allowing Abdallah to return to his role. Kano Pillars announced his comeback on X, expressing their support for him.
“All issues have now been resolved. Technical Adviser Usman Abdallah has returned after the misunderstanding with the fans and will lead the team for the remainder of the season. Welcome back, Gaffer!” the club wrote.
Kano Pillars currently sit in eighth place on the NPFL table, with 44 points from 31 matches. With Abdallah back in charge, the team will aim to finish the season strongly.
