Pioli took charge of the Saudi Arabian team in September 2024 after Luis Castro was sacked. Currently, Al-Nassr sits third in the league, 10 points behind leaders Al-Ittihad. The team has won only two of their last five league matches.
Despite these results, the decision to sack Pioli is reportedly not based on performance. Instead, his difficult relationships within the club, especially with Ronaldo, have created problems.
If Pioli is dismissed, Roma could be his next destination. The Italian club is looking for a new manager, as Claudio Ranieri is expected to leave at the end of the season.
