A Nigerian woman living in Canada, Omobolanle Adeyemo, has shared her opinion on why young women should experience living alone before marriage.
She believes that before moving into their husband’s home, women should have the opportunity to live independently. This allows them to learn important life skills, make their own decisions, and understand themselves better.
“Every young girl should live on her own before being shipped to her husband’s house!” she wrote.
Many people agree with this idea, saying that living alone helps young women become more responsible and confident. Others believe that traditional values should be followed, where a woman moves from her parents’ home to her husband’s home.
