French footballer Dimitri Payet is facing accusations of cheating on his wife, Ludivine, with a Brazilian lawyer. The 37-year-old, who currently plays for Vasco da Gama in Brazil, allegedly had a seven-month affair with social media star Larissa Ferrari.

Larissa Ferrari, a 28-year-old who describes herself as a “lawyer and broker in training,” claimed she was involved with Payet after he became lonely while living in Rio de Janeiro. She insisted that money was never a reason for their relationship and that their connection grew stronger over time.

Ferrari explained that their relationship became serious after her divorce. She revealed that she would visit Payet’s home every 12 days and stay for several days.

She described him as affectionate, both in person and through messages, which made it difficult for them not to develop strong feelings for each other.

Payet has been married to Ludivine for almost 20 years, and they have four children together. His wife visits him in Brazil every three months while he plays for Vasco da Gama.

In a statement, Ferrari apologized to her family and announced that she would take a break from social media to find peace.

As of now, Payet has not publicly responded to the accusations.
