Nigerian singer Orezi has shared that he once promised a lady a house but never fulfilled it. He made this revelation in a recent interview with Echo Room while discussing the controversy surrounding Burna Boy and socialite Sophia Egbueje over a Lamborghini.

Orezi explained that he has never made extravagant promises like buying a car worth N300 million for a woman. He questioned why he would buy a house for a lady, saying it didn’t make sense to him.

He also pointed out that both men and women fail to keep their promises in relationships. He noted that while men may not always fulfill their promises, women also don’t always stay faithful, despite promising to do so.

In his words:
“I once promised a lady a house but didn’t deliver. Why would I buy her a house? For what? Ladies also promise to be faithful, but they often fail. So, let everyone keep promising. It’s a dog-eat-dog world.”
