You’re getting all arrows from everyone, leave Man Utd – Cole tells Fernandes

Former Chelsea player Joe Cole has suggested that Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes should leave the club. According to Cole, Fernandes is getting all the criticism despite being one of the team’s best performers.

Fernandes has often faced harsh comments from fans and pundits at Man United. However, in recent weeks, he has been one of the few players delivering good performances. The Portuguese midfielder has scored eight goals and provided three assists in his last seven matches across all competitions.

Speaking to Paddy Power, Cole said, “If I were Bruno Fernandes, I’d definitely consider leaving Manchester United. He is getting all the blame, even though he is the one keeping the team together.”

Cole believes that Fernandes is carrying the team during this difficult period. He added, “Others are doing okay, but Bruno is the one working the hardest. When people look back at this time, he will be remembered as the only shining light.”

Fernandes joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon in 2020. His future at the club remains uncertain, but Cole thinks he deserves a fresh start elsewhere.
