Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot recently spoke about Cristiano Ronaldo’s strong connection with his teammates on the Portugal national team. Ahead of Portugal’s Nations League quarter-final against Denmark, Dalot shared his thoughts on how well Ronaldo connects with the squad.
Dalot explained that Ronaldo, who has been with the team the longest, knows everyone very well. He said, “Cristiano has a great connection with all the players. He knows the team and the people here the best.” Ronaldo is always welcomed warmly by the team, and his relationship with his teammates is unique and special.
Dalot also reflected on their time together at Manchester United. He mentioned how they developed a strong friendship while playing together, saying, “I got used to being with him every day, and we became good friends.” He added that all of Ronaldo’s teammates, not just him, have easy access to Ronaldo and enjoy a good connection with him.
At 40 years old, Ronaldo has not shown any signs of retiring from football yet.
