The Abia State Police Command has dismissed a Mobile Police officer due to unethical behavior. This action was taken to maintain discipline within the force.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Maureen Chinaka, confirmed the dismissal on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Danladi Isa. The officer was officially dismissed in February.
Commissioner Isa emphasized that the command does not tolerate unprofessional conduct. He assured the public that the police will continue to remove bad officers from the force to maintain trust and discipline.
However, the police did not reveal the specific offense committed by the dismissed officer.
