Former Nigerian footballer and Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, has praised Ola Aina and believes he could join Manchester City in the future.

Speaking to Africafoot, Yobo described Aina as one of the best right-backs in the Premier League this season. He thinks the Nottingham Forest defender has the qualities that City manager Pep Guardiola likes in his full-backs.

“Aina is currently one of the top three right-backs in the Premier League, and joining Manchester City wouldn’t surprise me at all,” Yobo said.

According to him, Aina is not only strong in defense but also effective in attack, which makes him a perfect fit for Guardiola’s playing style.

Aina recently played for Nottingham Forest in their 4-1 victory over Southampton, a result that keeps Forest in third place, ahead of fifth-placed Manchester City.
