Tottenham Hotspur midfielder James Maddison has sent a funny message to Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham after their Champions League victory against Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid had won the first leg 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu. In the second leg at Metropolitano Stadium, Atletico Madrid secured a 1-0 win after 120 minutes, making it a 2-2 draw on aggregate. The match then went to a penalty shootout.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side came out on top, winning the shootout 4-2. Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, and Antonio Rudiger all scored their penalties. However, Julian Alvarez’s kick was controversially ruled out by VAR after he accidentally touched the ball twice.

After the victory, Bellingham shared a photo on Instagram of himself scoring his penalty. Maddison, who is also his England teammate, couldn’t resist making a joke.

He commented: “Daisy cutter into the bottom bin. Behave yourself.”

Maddison’s playful remark added some humor to the intense match. Real Madrid will now face Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals next month.
