NNL: Sporting Lagos coach Adegun reveals plan for mid-season transfer window

Sporting Lagos head coach, Shola Adegun, has shared his plan to sign new players before the second half of the season begins. He wants to improve the team’s performance by adding more quality players.

Adegun admitted that injuries affected the squad in the first half of the season, making it difficult to maintain consistency. Sporting Lagos finished the first half in fifth place in Conference B with 14 points.

“We noticed that our squad is a bit small, and injuries made things tougher for us,” Adegun told Sporting Lagos media.

He confirmed that the club is actively searching for new players to strengthen the team. “We are looking to bring in more players, but we also want to make sure they add quality to the squad. Hopefully, we can sign one or two before the league resumes,” he added.

Sporting Lagos fans will be eager to see which players the club signs as they prepare for the second half of the season.
