why I left Moses Bliss’ record label – Ebuka Songs breaks silence

Popular gospel singer, Ebuka Songs, has finally opened up about why he left Spotlite Nation, the record label owned by Moses Bliss.

Ebuka signed a three-year contract with the label but left after only 11 months. In December 2024, Moses Bliss revealed in an interview that Ebuka decided to continue his music career independently.

Now, Ebuka has shared his side of the story. Speaking on the Open Up podcast, he said he left the label to focus on his ministry and the next phase of his life.

“I will always be grateful to Moses Bliss because, at that time, I had the anointing and the gift, but I didn’t know how to handle things professionally,” Ebuka said.

He added that his journey with Spotlite Nation was valuable, but he believes it’s time to focus on his ministry.

Ebuka also explained why he stayed silent about his exit.

“I didn’t want to talk about it earlier because I didn’t want to create unnecessary conversations. Sometimes, we just need to focus on what God has called us to do.”

Despite leaving the record label, Ebuka made it clear that there is no bad blood between him and Moses Bliss. He is now looking forward to his next steps in ministry.
