A tragic road accident happened on Saturday morning along the Damaturu-Maiduguri highway, leaving four people feared dead and seven others injured.
The crash involved an 18-seater bus belonging to Borno Express, which was traveling from Abuja to Maiduguri. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, moving the injured victims and bodies to the State Specialist Hospital in Damaturu.
This incident comes just days after another fatal crash on the same highway. Last Tuesday, ten people lost their lives when a cement truck carrying passengers lost control and crashed into a ditch.
Authorities continue to warn drivers to be cautious on the roads to prevent more accidents.
