Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has taken a dig at Jose Mourinho after their teams played a 0-0 draw on Monday night. Buruk claimed that the Fenerbahce coach went into the referee’s room to complain after the intense match.
Mourinho was seen heading into referee Slavko Vincic’s room after the game, which led Buruk to mock him. The Galatasaray boss told reporters, “Mourinho took a long time to cry! He is famous for crying. He went into the referee’s room and cried! Let him keep crying!”
Buruk also joked that Mourinho should no longer be called “The Special One” but instead “The Crying One.”
The draw was a setback for Mourinho’s Fenerbahce, as they remain six points behind Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig title race.
