Transfer: Norwegian club, ODD BK sign Nigerian midfielder

Norwegian football club Odd BK has completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Adam Mukhtar. The club decided to offer him a contract after he performed well during his trial period.

Mukhtar previously played for Sporting Lagos in the Nigeria National League (NNL). He has now signed a contract with Odd BK that will keep him at the club until 2027.

The young midfielder expressed his excitement about this new chapter in his career. “I am incredibly happy and excited. This is a moment I have been waiting for my whole life, and it is the biggest moment of my career so far,” he said on the club’s official website.

Playing in Europe can be tough for young African footballers, but Mukhtar is ready to face the challenge. He admitted that the playing style in Norway is different from what he was used to in Nigeria. However, he is determined to adapt quickly.

“Football is football, but the tactics and playing style here are a bit different. I already feel that this is a step up from football in Africa. My teammates and coaches have been great, helping me both on and off the pitch. I really feel at home here,” he added.

Mukhtar now looks forward to making his mark in Norwegian football with Odd BK.
