Barcelona’s young star, Lamine Yamal, has named Liverpool as the strongest team to win the UEFA Champions League this season. He believes the Reds have a better chance than Barcelona.

Yamal made this statement ahead of Barcelona’s La Liga match against Las Palmas. Both Barcelona and Liverpool have already reached the Champions League Round of 16.

Liverpool finished at the top of their group, ahead of Barcelona. This made Yamal consider them the biggest favorites to win the title.

“I think only Liverpool are bigger favorites than us in the Champions League because they finished first,” Yamal told MD. “But we can still compete and fight to win.”

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are the current Champions League winners. They defeated Dortmund 2-0 in last season’s final at Wembley Stadium.
