Nigerian Breweries Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading brewing companies, honored its top trade partners at the 2025 Distributor Awards. The event, held on February 7, 2025, at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, was filled with celebration, recognition, and entertainment.
The awards night celebrated the hard work and dedication of distributors and transport partners who helped the company achieve success despite challenges in 2024.
The biggest award, National Volume Champion, went to Jimoh Ogungbola of J.Ogungbola and Sons Limited. Dennis Okorie of MACDEN Communications Limited and Christiana Odiaka of Chrisemua and Sons Limited secured first and second runner-up positions, respectively.
Speaking at the event, Nigerian Breweries Plc’s Managing Director, Hans Essaadi, expressed gratitude to the trade partners for their resilience. He emphasized that success is achieved through teamwork, saying, “Tonight, we are not just celebrating individual wins but our collective success.”
Marketing Director Emmanuel Oriakhi also appreciated the distributors for their unwavering support in 2024, despite economic challenges. He stated, “This event is our way of recognizing and rewarding those who have contributed significantly to our growth.”
Winners received various prizes, including cash rewards, plaques, trophies, forklifts, and cases of premium Nigerian Breweries products.
Several companies, such as Moses & Kossy Nigeria Enterprise, M. O Nkala Nigeria Limited, and Skyward Resources Limited, were also recognized for their outstanding contributions.
The night was filled with fun and entertainment, featuring performances by Fuji music star Adewale Ayuba, popular musician KCee, and the energetic Sugar Band.
After receiving his award, Jimoh Ogungbola thanked Nigerian Breweries Plc for their continuous support, noting that despite economic challenges like inflation and fuel subsidy removal, his company achieved great success. He promised to keep working closely with the brewery to achieve even better results in the future.
