Popular Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has reached out to her fans for financial support as she struggles to survive.
In a recent video shared on her Instagram page, Halima appeared weak and unwell. She expressed her pain and disappointment, revealing that she has been facing serious health and financial challenges.
The actress, who was suspended from Nollywood in October 2024 for alleged misconduct, stated that some of her colleagues and even her best friend have turned their backs on her.
Halima explained that people have accused her of lying about her health. She revealed that she had been receiving treatment at a Turkish hospital in Nigeria and had spent over a year in her village before recently relocating for medical check-ups.
She shared her frustration, saying, “I’m not feeling fine, but I try to stay strong. Every day, I use filters on TikTok to look better, but this is how I truly look. Some people claim I’m lying about my illness, but why would anyone fake being sick?”
The actress also revealed that her blood pressure is currently 157 and that she still needs to undergo an MRI and other medical tests. She expressed her heartbreak over being abandoned by those she trusted, including her best friend.
Halima’s emotional plea has touched many fans, and they are now calling for support to help her through this difficult time.
