Abductors of APC national director demand N350m ransom

Dr. Adekunle Raif Adeniji, the Director of Administration at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat in Abuja, has been kidnapped. His abductors are demanding a ransom of N350 million for his freedom.

Dr. Adeniji was taken by armed men two weeks ago in Chikakore, Kubwa, within the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He was visiting his brother’s house when the attackers struck.

The gunmen also abducted his brother, his brother’s wife, and their son. Sadly, the brother’s wife, Madam Esther, was later found dead in Ijah-Gbagyi, Niger State.

The kidnappers have since contacted Dr. Adeniji’s family, insisting on payment before he can be freed. A family member confirmed that he and the others are still being held.

A source within APC acknowledged the situation but declined to share details. Another official at the party’s national secretariat also confirmed the abduction and assured that efforts were being made to secure his release.

Authorities and family members continue to work towards his safe return.
