Opposition parties no longer exist in Imo – Gov Uzodinma

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has declared that opposition parties no longer exist in the state.

He made this statement while welcoming the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, along with other party leaders, during the commissioning of newly constructed roads.

Uzodinma explained that the APC had gained strong support across rural communities due to its people-focused projects.

According to him, this contributed to the party’s landslide victory in the Local Government Area (LGA) elections.

The governor claimed that his administration’s achievements in the last five years have won the hearts of Imo residents.

He added that the opposition parties have disappeared because people now recognize the development brought by APC governance.

He pointed to the results of the State House of Assembly and LGA elections, where APC secured nearly all positions, as proof that opposition parties no longer have influence in the state’s politics.

Uzodinma assured that his government would continue improving infrastructure and human capital development, stating that APC has put Imo State on the right path for progress.
