I’m a hard-core traditionalist- Yul Edochie says as he criticises Africans who have abandoned their African religion

Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has once again spoken out about his strong belief in African traditions. He boldly declared himself a “hard-core traditionalist” and criticized Africans who have abandoned their traditional religion.

In a recent Facebook post, Yul shared a photo of himself dressed in traditional attire with chalk markings under his eyes. In his caption, he expressed disappointment that many Africans have distanced themselves from their spiritual roots because they fear what others will say. He called this an “abomination” and vowed never to turn away from the ways of his forefathers.

According to Yul, African spirituality is built on truth, fairness, and transparency. He believes people should be proud of their cultural heritage instead of replacing it with foreign beliefs.

Yul’s statement comes after his attempt to start an online church did not succeed. However, he has been vocal about African tradition for a long time.

Just weeks ago, he claimed that more premature deaths are happening in Africa because people have abandoned their traditional religion for Western beliefs. He insists that Africans must return to their roots for a better future.
