Popular Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has made a bold statement about Nigerian politicians and their expectations of going to heaven. He expressed his disbelief that despite their corruption, many politicians still hope to enter paradise.

In a live video on Instagram, Kuti criticized Nigerian leaders, including those who claim to be religious, such as former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who is also a pastor. He questioned how corrupt politicians could believe they deserve a place in heaven after causing so much suffering in the country.

Kuti went further to say that if he ever died and discovered that heaven, as described by Christians and Muslims, was real—and he saw a Nigerian politician there—he would choose to leave.
