Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, has given firm advice to his members: marry within the church. During a recent sermon, he explained why he prefers that his male congregants choose wives from their own church community rather than from outside.
According to Apostle Suleman, there are plenty of women in the ministry who share the same values and beliefs as the male members. He pointed out that marrying within the church helps avoid unnecessary challenges and conflicts that often arise when people marry outside their faith community.
In a now-viral video, Apostle Suleman said, “If you marry someone outside this ministry, I won’t attend your wedding. The wedding will happen, but I won’t be there. Over the past two months, 70% of the relationship crises I’ve handled involved members who married women from outside the church.”
This bold statement has sparked conversations among church members and the wider community about the importance of shared beliefs in relationships. Suleman believes that by marrying within the church, couples can build stronger, more harmonious relationships rooted in common faith.
His advice serves as a reminder for believers to carefully consider shared values and community support when choosing a life partner.
