The National Hospital Abuja is urgently seeking public assistance in identifying a middle-aged man who was involved in a road traffic accident and was admitted to their Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on December 21, 2024.
According to Dr. Tayo Haastrup, the hospital’s spokesperson, the man was found unconscious along Jabi Express Road in Abuja. A Good Samaritan discovered him and immediately rushed him to the hospital for medical treatment. Since his arrival, the hospital has been providing him with the necessary care, but due to the lack of identification, his family and loved ones remain unaware of his condition.
In a statement released on Sunday, Dr. Haastrup explained that the hospital is doing everything possible to ensure the man receives the best medical attention. However, they emphasized the urgent need to reconnect him with his family or loved ones for further assistance and support.
The hospital has requested that anyone who might have had a relative go missing around December 21, 2024, visit the Trauma ICU at the National Hospital Abuja to help identify the man. If you or someone you know is looking for a missing person who may fit his description, the hospital urges you to come forward to provide assistance.
The National Hospital Abuja hopes that with the public’s help, they will be able to identify the man and reunite him with his family as soon as possible. They have reassured the public that they are continuing to offer the best medical care to the man while they work to resolve his identification.
If you believe you have any information or know someone who might be missing, please consider visiting the hospital’s Trauma ICU to help with the identification process. This is a critical step in ensuring the man is connected with his family and gets the support he needs.
