Pastor Bayo Oluwayemi, the Senior Pastor of The Word International Christian Centre, also known as Wonders’ Chapel, recently raised an important question: “What have you achieved in 2024?” This question was directed at individuals who often fall victim to fake prophecies.
In a post shared on the church’s Instagram page, Pastor Oluwayemi criticized some pastors who make false and unrealistic prophecies. He called out these “fake prophets” for delivering messages designed to manipulate and deceive people.
Pastor Oluwayemi urged Nigerians to evaluate their achievements instead of relying on empty promises. His message emphasizes the importance of personal accountability and growth.
The statement has sparked online discussions, with many praising the pastor for addressing this issue. His bold stance challenges the faith community to shift focus from believing in baseless predictions to taking practical steps toward progress.
“Last year, they said this year is your year; what have you achieved? They know how to package prophecy to deceive you,” Pastor Oluwayemi stated while accusing some prophets of skillfully crafting prophecies that mislead unsuspecting members.
“There are some prophets they are supposed to arrest for making promises that do not come to pass. When they said this year is your year, what is your agenda? What did you lay your hands on? You didn’t learn a trade, go to school, or take any productive steps—it is a deception,” Pastor Bayo stated.
“Until you move, nothing may move!” he concluded, encouraging members to focus on tangible efforts to achieve their goals.
Pastor Oluwayemi’s message is a wake-up call, reminding everyone that true success comes from personal effort, not from placing hope in unfulfilled prophecies. Let 2024 be a year of action, accountability, and real achievements.
