Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has shared that the efforts he’s making in Abuja are all part of a larger plan to improve governance and fulfill President Bola Tinubu’s promise to bring renewed hope to the citizens.
Wike made these remarks while inspecting the construction of the five-kilometre Saburi-Dei Dei road in Abuja, a key project aimed at improving transportation in the area.
He pointed out that the work being done in FCT is aligned with Tinubu’s vision to uplift the lives of Nigerians through practical and meaningful initiatives. According to Wike, these efforts are fulfilling the president’s promise to create a better future for the people.
Wike said, “Good governance is inclusive of the provision of basic infrastructure, being transparent and accountable, providing security and providing quality health and education to the people.
“All the things that we have been doing in FCT are part of good governance.”
Wike expressed his happiness at the positive response from the people, noting that many residents are pleased with the improvements taking place and are hopeful about the future.
“We are happy that the people appreciate what we are doing. This is very important to us that the people are happy,” he added.
