Donald Trump, who is running for president in the 2024 U.S. election as the Republican candidate, has once again shown his appreciation for Elon Musk, calling him a “genius.” Trump emphasized the importance of protecting Musk, praising the tech billionaire’s influence and actions.
Trump highlighted Musk’s role during Hurricane Helene, which affected the southeastern U.S. in October. According to Trump, Musk’s Starlink satellite service helped save many lives during the disaster. Trump’s supporters were informed about this vital contribution on Wednesday, November 6.
In addition to his praise for Musk’s efforts during the hurricane, Trump also acknowledged Musk’s strong support for his campaign. The tech mogul has made random donations, including a notable one-million-dollar contribution to encourage people to register as voters for the Republican Party.
Trump stated,
“I told Elon they need it badly in North Carolina. Can you get it? He had that there so fast, it was incredible. It saved a lot of lives. They saved a lot of lives,”
He added; “He’s a character, he’s a special guy, he’s a super genius. We have to protect our geniuses; we don’t have that many of them.”
Elon Musk has proven to be a key ally for Trump in his 2024 presidential race, and his support continues to make a significant impact.
